I think it's awesome you're so passionate about this, I want to defend the show because of the way they've filled in/skipped over some things quite well, (I think Arya serving Tywin was a nice twist) but changing Robb so drastically (don't get me started on 'Talisa') just seems wrong, seeing as there really are no hero-esque figures in the books, it really does change the dynamic of the series, just trying to say that I think I understand and support your opinion...

Thank you! And I absolutely agree. Some of the changes are great! And I do love the ‘missing scenes’ (especially in season 1 where these didn’t detract from the actual story that was told in the books but only added to it. This is no longer the case, so it has significantly less value than before but I can’t say I didn’t enjoy watching Robb getting in Edmure’s face on some level. But me enjoying Richard’s acting and me approving of the story being told properly are definitely not the same thing). I loved Arya and Tywin, I like Shae (though I liked her much more in the books) and I like how fleshed out Margaery is. There’s a lot of stuff I love about the show. But the way they’ve decimated Robb/Cat/Jeyne’s little bubble of Westeros completely isn’t something I’m going to be quiet and smile about. Thanks for your support :)
