He tosses his cigarette down and comes to sit next to you. “So challenge her. Or talk to your boss. Or leave. Or tell her to stop being a bitch.”
You laugh at the last one.
"What I’m saying is that I will support whatever decision you make. I just want you to believe that she’s not the one who’s right. Don’t let her lies change your mind about how incredible you are."
